Santo
Tomas is one of Menorca’s less known resorts even though it has a superb
beach, is within easy reach of Mahon and is just a short transfer from the airport.
The surrounding area is covered with pine and olive trees which give the area
a peaceful, natural ambience and, combined with its summer villas and small selection
of shops, bars and restaurants (located very close to our hotel), it all adds
up to a great holiday location.
There’s a bus service to Mahon and Ciudadela,
which takes around 30 minutes to both, and the bus stop is just alongside our
hotel, the Sol Menorca. This comfortable, spacious 4 star hotel overlooks the
sea, is set alongside a long, sandy beach with sunbeds, parasols and beach bar,
and enjoyslovely views from its panoramic terraces. It also boasts a swimming
pool, sunbeds and umbrellas and is fully air-conditioned.
There’s a buffet-style
restaurant, pool and lounge bars, a fitness room and occasional evening entertainment.
All the air-conditioned bedrooms (singles and doubles for sole use) have a private
sh/wc (with hairdryer), satellite TV, safe, minibar, telephone and a balcony or
terrace. Enjoying a superb location, the Sol Menorca is a great venue for your
